On April 26, 2014, Dana Arcuri, Jane VanOsdol, Sheryl Griffin, and I had the Authentic Hope virtual event on Facebook, sharing our stories of hope. We pre-recorded our speaking video presentations, and shared these, quotes, and pictures of hope. God’s presence was there, and women were greatly encouraged. One of the women said:
“Thank you so much for creating this event today, Beth Jones, Dana Arcuri, Jane Herrmann VanOsdol, and Sheryl Griffin! I have overcome so many things in my life…with God’s help. Hallelujah!! He restored a fresh hope in me when my life was filled with much despair. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!! My hope has once again been renewed through your encouragement, along with the input of all the others who are participating in this event. It is a testament of how much the body of Christ needs each other and what a disservice we do to ourselves when we choose to isolate ourselves instead of reaching out to each other when going through hard times. May God bless you and every person who participated in this event beyond your wildest imaginations!”
One of the questions on the Facebook event page was, “How do you hear God’s voice?”

I’m a very flawed person and not a perfect Christian by any means (I struggle daily and need more of Jesus!), but I’ve learned a few things in my daily walk with God for many years about prayer, that I’d like to share with you.
