Still searching

Beautiful blue & white peaks of Rockies mountains

Canadian Rockies mountains

I’ve been searching for answers about many things lately. My life. My business. My marriage.

My friend Ruth sent me an encouraging text yesterday-the name of a song: Trust in You by Lauren Daigle.

Some of the lines in the lyrics says:

“When You don’t move the mountains I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers as I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You!

Truth is, You know what tomorrow brings
There’s not a day ahead You have not seen.”

Then yesterday when I attended Women’s Aglow, the artist-author speaker said something very similar: “When you don’t have the answer, trust God.”

That’s where I am right now. Sometimes when I’m not sure about the next step, it makes me feel better to eat chips and salsa, drink more coffee, enjoy a bit of chocolate, journal, and/or change my website theme. I suddenly changed my theme tonight. (This morning I had coffee and journaled. Yesterday I had the chips and salsa, and chocolate!)

This new theme is minimalist, clean, and simple. I hope you like it.

For now, I’m setting aside the VA/transcriptionist idea as an additional arm of my online business. While I may still do that as opportunities arise (I may change my mind next week!), I have to pursue my passion, which is speaking, writing books, and encouraging women to use their gifts and fulfill their God-given, great destiny. To walk in their own unique glass slippers–their unique purpose.

Let me know what you think of the new theme by your comments below.

Oh, and when you don’t have the answers either, trust God.
