You weren’t born to fit in

In school growing up, I was never the popular cheerleader type. Or the student who earned straight A+’s. Or the great athlete. I never felt like I fit in anywhere. I often still feel that way. Always on the outside looking in.

The good news? You and I weren’t born to fit in, but to stand out. To be unique and different. To be a leader. A visionary. God created us to be women of influence and impact.

At The Cinderella Story: The Power of Shoes women’s conference I just hosted and spoke at in Overland Park, Kansas on September 20, I spoke about this through the story of Cinderella. You can watch a short video clip here.

Yes! We were never supposed to fit in, but to stand out in whatever God has called us to do! 🙂
