When I was a child, all I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a mom and a writer. God answered my prayers. I am the mom of three beautiful daughters, Heather, Eden, and Leah. I’m also a writer–the author of 19 books, and I’m still writing!
I also am a speaker for women’s conferences, retreats, and online events. To be honest, God had to drag me into this! I used to be so shy that when I spoke in front of people, I’d sweat, physically shake, and felt like I was going to faint. After speaking awhile, I got more used to it and now I love it! God has even sent me to speak in other nations!
You and I only have this one moment, this one life to live. When I die or when Jesus returns (whichever comes first), and I see God face to face, I want to hear from Him, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23) This includes what I did with the talents/gifts of speaking and writing, to glorify God.
Am I completing the mission here on Earth that God has given me? Are you?

You and I will gather together around a virtual fire with hot coffee or cocoa (or your fave cold drink!), and learn that our spoken and written words make a difference and an IMPACT for God’s Kingdom. I’ll put your “feet to the fire” so to speak, encouraging and motivating (pushing!) you to speak and/or finally write that book!
Together, we’ll discuss how PROCRASTINATION and her sister dressed up in high heels, PERFECTIONISM, hinder and stop you from communicating the message that God has given you.
We’ll talk about how your EXCUSES no longer serve you–or God.
We’ll learn tips on how to JUST GET STARTED writing that book or dipping your little toe into public speaking…and how you MUST finish the race! (and the book!)
We’ll deal with those CRIPPLING FEARS that rise up every time you hold the Sharpie pen or open up the blank Word or Office document to start writing, whether that be a blog post, an article, a poem, or a chapter in your book.
Or those butterflies in your stomach (that may feel much bigger!) before you go on stage to speak, to share your powerful testimony or message. No one else has YOUR STORY and your VOICE!
We’ll receive new revelation that God doesn’t want you and me POOR, and He desires for us to PROSPER financially, using our speaking and writing talents/gifts to bless our family and others.
We’ll examine the enemy Satan’s lies that you have nothing important to say and that no one will want to hear it or to read what you’ve written. We’ll talk and pray about the INTENSE spiritual warfare that happens every time you speak or write!
We’ll be reminded that God created everything with HIS WORDS (Genesis 1), that Jesus is called “The Word” (John 1:1-3), and that the right word at the right time makes such an impact and a difference in others’ lives!
