Thanksgiving is around the corner. We don’t have to wait for a special holiday to feel thankful, though. We can give God thanks every day for His blessings. One tool you can use is a gratitude journal. Record the blessings, big and small, that God gives you each day.

It will cultivate a grateful heart and keep you from feeling discouraged, unhappy, envious, or frustrated. As you reflect on God’s goodness, your heart will overflow with joy. It is like the stone memorials the patriarchs of our faith, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, built as altars to remember God and His promises, and to worship Him for His goodness and protection over them.

One of the things I am so thankful to God for is the anointed, powerful women of God He has brought across my path this year. I consider them dear friends now, even though I’ve never met any of them IRL (in real life).Eight women shared their stories in my ebook, The Hands Of a Woman: Everyday Women In Everyday Battles.

I interviewed most of these women on Talkshoe, and you can listen to them at no cost to you by clicking here. You will be blessed and inspired by their amazing stories of their greatest spiritual battles.

You can also listen to other women who share their touching, powerful stories on my Women’s Battles Talkshoe show, again as my free gift to you by clicking here.

My next Talkshoe special guest is Andrea Sharp of Sharp Women, on November 10 at 2:30 p.m. Central Time. She will be sharing on the topic, I Can Only Do Four Things at Once. I can’t wait to hear this one!
