“I have measured out my life with coffee spoons.” ~ T.S. Eliot
It’s early morning, cold, the sky a slate-blue, trees bare of leaves. The last day of December in 2014. I sit at my laptop, thinking about this year and that tomorrow starts a new year. What will it bring?
Perhaps many writing mornings with a good, strong cup of coffee.
Or staying under the soft, warm electric blanket, curled up with a new book.
Maybe travel to a new exciting place.
Or just ordinary days, shaped into extraordinary moments with precious family and friends by God the Potter.
Whatever 2015 yields, I behold it thankfully and expectantly in my heart. I believe it’s going to be a good year.
“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” ~ Isaiah 43:19, NLT
