When You Struggle With Your Thoughts

Sometimes when you or a loved one is hurting, it isn’t easy to respond in a Godly manner or to think Godly thoughts. Lately I have been watching someone I love very much go through a painful time, and it is hard for me to deal with, to even know how to pray in this situation. I’ve also struggled with my thought life.

While my desire in life is to love, obey and always glorify Jesus, my emotions and thoughts don’t always line up with God’s word and God’s will. Jesus experienced the same struggle in the Garden of Gethsamane before His crucifixion and death. After much travailing prayer with tears and sweating blood, He surrendered to God’s plans, as difficult and frightening as they were.

Going a little ahead, he fell on his face, praying, “My Father, if there is any way, get me out of this. But please, not what I want. You, what do you want?” (Matthew 26:39, The Message)

Maybe you struggle with your thoughts, too. It’s important to renew your mind daily in the Word of God. My friend Bess Blanco and I are so excited about our webinar that is at no charge to you if you attend the live event, Spiritual CPR.

It’s Tuesday, March 20, at 7 p.m. Central Time (8 p.m. Eastern Time). There will be an upgraded version of the recording and a bonus pdf later, but only those attending the live event will be able to view it free.

Bess will be sharing part of her incredible testimony and I will be teaching on Spiritual CPR – Renewing the Mind. Learn how to capture, pull down, and replace your thoughts with the authority of God’s word. It is going to be powerful and you don’t want to miss it!

We’d love to see you in the chat room!  To save your spot, just click here for more information.
