I am in three online support groups, which has several Christians and entrepreneurs/home business owners in them. This past week several of the women were talking about spiritual warfare, and how they sensed Satan doesn’t want them to succeed in their businesses.
The reason for this is because Satan knows that if we are blessed by God in our businesses, then we’ll be able to bless the church and others, and help to spread the gospel to the nations. So he actively fights us in our business by hindering our progress, by causing distractions, discouragement, and stress, and many other ways.
Jesus defeated Satan at the cross, but we still have to fight his attacks against our mind, body, and soul while we’re here on earth until we die. To fight him effectively, we need to keep on the armor of God, spoken of by the apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:11-19.
