This is the last day of 2016. I always use this time of year to reflect over the past year and pray about the coming year. Since Ray is working tonight (New Year’s Eve), we prayed together last night to ask for God’s presence to go with us into the new year 2017, His protection over us, our children, our grandchildren, and our loved ones, and for God’s financial blessings and provision for 2017.
We prayed for our marriage.
We dedicated the year to Him.
Tonight as 2016 forever passes with all its good memories, laughter, heartaches and sorrow, challenges and stresses, new growth, missed opportunities as well as undeniable, exciting God moments, and we enter into a brand new year, a fresh start, let’s pray and seek the Lord, believing for a much better year in 2017–more of love, more of peace and joy, more travel and excitement, less stress, less drama, less worry and fear, more of walking in God’s purpose.
