I will look up

In the words of Charles’ Dickens book A Tale Of Cities, it’s been “The best of times, the worst of times” this week. Ever had one like that?  As Ray, Leah, and I left to go to a nice family dinner out, our car broke down on the highway, leaving us stuck on the side of the road for awhile.  The repair will cost more than the value of the car, so we are car-shopping now. The good news is that this puts us in a prime position for God’s blessings, and I can’t wait to share the testimony with you next week!

Do you have dreams in your heart that have never come to pass?  Do you have unanswered prayers?  Do you feel stuck, in between places, in transition – like you can’t get to where you’d really like to be?  You’ve got the vision; you see it on the horizon ahead, but something is holding you back and you can’t move forward!

Dear friend, God sees those dreams. He is the one who put them in your heart, and HE will help you to accomplish them. He hears your voice as you pray. Listen to what the  psalmist  David said as he penned these words in Psalm 5:

“Give ear to my words, O lord, consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.”

God hears our voice. He hears us as we pray. All we need to do is look up at Him…keeping our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

To learn more about coming out of that stuck, in-between place of transition, tune into this week’s podcast here.
