Roadblock

RoadblockToday when I tried to update my WordPress website, I found out that the Genesis Studio Press theme is incompatible with the new WordPress 2.0 update. The theme for a website is like the “clothing” for the website – its colors, fonts, graphics, etc.

I have to temporarily use a different theme, but am asking a friend for a recommendation for another theme that is compatible with WordPress updates.

I appreciate your patience with my website during the construction phase. I know it’s a little harder to get around. Some of the fonts and pictures have changed, and don’t look right. Hopefully I will have this problem resolved within the next week or 2.

I’d appreciate your prayers as I try to find a new theme that I like. If you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them. Leave your comments below.

Oh my goodness…lol This is my second try. I think it is so pretty!! (Leave it to me, but I see the silver lining…ha!) I LOVE pink. It looks so crisp, clean, refreshing, yet calming and inviting. I used to love doing websites and now I just get overwhelmed and frustrated. I know this will all turn out for the good! I pray over your site and your ministry and those touched by it…..amen. Love ya, Shell-Shell

I know, Beth, it is weird. I’ve had trouble with Genesis themes before being incompatible with WordPress updates. I think it was that particular theme. I’m trying this one for now. It is not a Genesis. Nobody is helping me right now with my site. This theme was easy to install. You just upload a zip file of the theme and activate it. What comes to mind when you think of colors, graphics, etc.? What would you like?

Wow, that’s weird. Genesis is huge, I’m surprised it’s not compatible. Is it just the theme you were using?
I hope you find one you like. I’ve been looking forever and can’t find just the right one. Do you mind me asking who is helping you with your site?
