Me ~ Ray’s coming home!
After nearly a month of my husband Ray being in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, to help our pastor friend Jay Threadgill and the earthquake victims, Ray is coming home. His flight out of Haiti on a propellor plane is scheduled to leave this Thursday, and his flights from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Charlotte, NC, and then to Kansas City, MO are scheduled Friday.
All of these flights are still “iffy,” so please pray for God to move mightily on Ray’s behalf and for traveling mercies to get him safely home. Please continue to pray for his total healing of his cough, and his physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration.
The needs in Haiti will continue for years. May we not forget them in prayer and in giving monetarily. Psalm 146: 7-9 says:
7 He upholds the cause of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry.
The LORD sets prisoners free,
8 the LORD gives sight to the blind,
the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down,
the LORD loves the righteous.
9 The LORD watches over the alien
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
