Skinny jeans solution for life

Skinny jeans If I wear skinny jeans, will they really make me look skinny? This is the question I posted on Facebook this week.

Recently I bought some skinny jeans. While sometimes I feel more like the fat-bottomed girls that Queen sang about in the 80’s and I can’t say that I feel “skinny” in them, I do feel slimmer. Combined with my new grey Marilyn Monroe shirt and short black boots with fur, I even feel sexy for Ray.

Skinny jeans are the cure to a fast skinny. The key is finding some that you can actually fit into! :O Listen, if I can, you can!

Do you ever wish you could find the skinny jeans solution for life? You know, things like:

  • Marriage conflicts
  • Problems with your kids
  • Financial struggles
  • Stress
  • Health issues
  • Friends being too “busy”
  • Working with unprofessional people
  • _________ (you name it).

There is a skinny jean solution. His name is Jesus.

Try Him on for size. He fits just right.

Whatever you’re struggling with today, He’s there and can help.

Talkshoe Show with Karen Wells: Unhooked: 7 Life-Changing Steps to Emotional Freedom

This week I shared about my childhood sexual and physical abuse and my 3 abortions in adulthood with a friend, who had no idea about these traumas in my past. Childhood abuse and abortion deeply wound a woman’s soul. Only God’s unconditional Love and Forgiveness, the blood of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit can heal her and set her free.

I am so thankful for God’s love and forgiveness, and the grace and mercy He has extended me. God has even turned this around 180 degrees and used my painful past to minister to and help heal other women, who have been through similar traumas. He uses my powerful testimony to glorify His Son Jesus, as He did when I shared my story with my friend this week. Just look at the great things God has done in and through my life!

“He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” – 2 Corinthians 1:4, NLT

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” – Genesis 50:20, NLT

What about you? Have you been sexually, verbally, or physically abused in childhood? Had an abortion? Lived in a dysfunctional family with alcoholism, drug addiction, or gambling? Had absent parents? Were you adopted? Have you been through a difficult divorce? Had a spouse who committed adultery or abandoned you?

Satan’s attacks against women of God

As moms, wives, and entrepreneurs, we need to continually learn from others as well as to get and give support so we can fulfill the greater purpose God has for our lives. I am in three different, great support groups right now (one is a mastermind) and lately we’ve been discussing how as Christian women, we daily face Satan’s attacks against us to distract us, cause us anxiety, stress us out, oppose our growth in God and our business success, or outright wipe us off the face of this earth.

The Bible says in John 10:10 (NLT), “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”

Satan is that thief, and he’s doing everything he can to come against the women who are passionately pursuing God, and who desire to make an eternal difference here on earth with their lives and their gifts that God has given them.

But God is greater than any demon in hell. He will give you victory if you just trust and have faith.
