White as snow

We’ve had quite a bit of snow since Christmas here in Missouri, and today we’re having even more. We even have a couple of feet of it here in our own backyard! A lot of people here are griping about the snow and the cold, but I love it. I am a snow bunny, and think it’s beautiful! The snow sparkles like diamonds.  It makes everything look fresh and clean – brand new!

January 1, 2010, started a brand new year…a chance for a fresh start.  Yesteryear is gone; today is full of promise and God’s abundant blessings. What is it that you are wanting to accomplish this new year? What do you need to let go of from 2009, in order to embrace the new and exciting and adventurous in 2010? Let it go. Start fresh today!

“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18, NIV)

Here is a short video of the snow in our backyard.
