My new book addresses the topic of terrorism

With the news this week of the Istanbul airport attack in Turkey, terrorism continues to be a big concern around the globe. I’ve been to that airport before, going to it before arriving in Nairobi when I spoke at the women’s conference in Africa, so that’s scary! A little too close for comfort.

We’re seeing more and more terrorism today. A terrorist attack is defined as “the threatened or actual use of illegal force and violence by a non-state actor to obtain a political, economic, religious, or social goal through fear, coercion, or intimidation.”

This year I’ve been working on the second book in my Storm Tossed fiction series which addresses the topic of terrorism, Afflicted: A woman missionary kidnapped by terrorists in the jungles of Africa.

This morning I was very excited to get an email from my graphic designer that the cover for this book–which will be for sale on Amazon soon–is ready. It is beautiful, I love it, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

My deadline to have this book launched is now set for July 15, 2016.
